Cheap .35 Whelan barrel for Springfield

Midway has a Green Mountain barrel short chambered and threaded for a large ring Mauser. Would there be a hidden problem with cutting the threads off and re - threading for an 03A3 action?

Chill, you are right. It might be cheaper in the long run to just jump in and order one from Shaw.
