Hornady K31 new dimension die size?

Anyone with a set of the K31 dies? I need to know if the seater die will accept a boolit @ .310" without sizing down. I have a set for 308 win that will barely take .309".

The sliding sleeve in Hornady's New Dimension seating die is dimensioned for jacketed bullets. You will have to open it up to accept the typical fat-for-caliber cast boolit.

The seater die for my 223 rem will readily accept up to .227" so they may not have to be opened up. Looking for someone who has the die so I can have some first hand experience.

I should have been so lucky. I have 12 Hornady New Dimension and Lyman Precision Alignment seating dies and had to enlarge every sliding sleeve, to seat boolits. My stars never seem to be in proper formation.

But, since the K31 uses small for caliber boolits, it may work, depending on your boolit design.

My K31 wants .310" minimum as that is what the barrel slugs to.
