so being fresh back to the states ... i am anxious to find my cheapest source for good black powder. parusing thru i find ... i think ... that "powder Inc." is the cheapest source for a "to the door shippment". looks like the magic number of pounds would be 25 at least for the greatest price break.

looked at Graf's and Buff Arms but looks like the Powder Inc. is the best deal rite now.

did i miss someone or a place that is a better deal?

You might try ordering a case from The Gun Works in Springfield and picking it up. It might be cheaper over all given you dodge the hazmat. Besides...they is good people there.

Crater Fireworks is another source. Nominally they sell cheaper but when the shipping is added at the end, it's pretty much the same per/pound cost as everybody else. Nice people to deal with.

look for a dealer near you. sometimes they will sell in 25 lb. balk boxes that way you save the price of the cans. that is the way I buy it.

I like Graf-n-Sons at $14 a pound. I have gotten it on sale recently for $11 per pound. At a purchase of 3 pounds, price is break even on buying subs in local stores here. 8)

oh yea i have some left from alaska but ... have no place to load ... no place to cast ... no place to shoot ... YET.

now after buying this place ... moving ... doing the needed repairs ... guess what ... i gotta go to work to continue with the fun things in life. after this summer we should be settled into some sort of sanity ... but for now ... i guess i will be an armchair computer warrior and keep the dream alive in my nogin till i can get some sorta sanity in my loading and casting rooms.

Sanity is overrated. ;-) Get settled in and catch up on the bills; playing with boolits isn't much fun with other matters pressing. As long as you have hunting ammo you're good to go for a few months.
