Cast bullet for 338 Lapua

I canceled the 3 each 338-06 build and going with 3 each, 338 Lapua Magnums.

Can a cast bullet be made at 300 grains with somewhat of a point on it? Or even an 8mm Mauser shape point would work.

Would I be able to get 2600 fps out of this bullet? (Yea I know and Britney will not go back into rehab either)

The bullets are for cheap training out to 300 yards for friends. :redneck:

Check the NEI website they have a 283 gr. I think. Not many 338 molds available. Been looking for my 338-06. No Joy.
