Primer ??

I'd like your thoughts about this;

My neighbor just gave me a ton-(almost litteraly) of reloading components, there are about 10 bricks of primers, 2 of which are Mag/Large pistol. I don't load 44mags or anything like them but I do load 44-40 and 38-40 with BP(and sometimes 45Colt).

I'd like to use the mag primers since they are so expensive these days, does anyone think I'll have trouble using them with BP loads??? Your thoughts please..
