Looks like about half of a 5 gallon bucket. Mostly 9mm...45 and shotgun slugs

Guy found it in the garage when they bought a house...then he moved and took it with him. He said he wouldn't move with it again and wanted it gone.

So I gladly took it, after a dolly rolled it to my truck and we both lifted it up.

He didn't know what it weighed...but I do now...

160lbs and that includes some dirt but very little other debris as I went through a lot of it and picked out some brass and odds and ends.

I think I did good on this score...paid $25 for it. Gotta love Craigslist.

Any tips on reclaiming this lead and what to do with the copper after?

Smelt it with a lid (fmj may spray a bit), flux, remove junk and jackets, flux, & pour ingots.

Some are able to sell the jackets to the junk yard.

Good luck.

Good haul. Should yield you a good chunk of lead
