Twist rate for airgun barrels

just wondering, what is the rifling twist rate for airgun barrels. 22 and 177. think that the twist for 22 short is different than for 22lr so how will this differ for lighter pellets at subsonic velocities. just curious.

Many are about 16"-18", regardless of caliber.... there appears to be little logic for it....
