Wow its been a long winter and a cold spring. IM getting ready to go fishing here is my rig ready to go in the water. Ill switch rods depending on what im fishing for. I can carry 2 more trolling rods, but two are about all I can handle. The red bag is a horse saddle bag that works great for tackle boxes. Ill give some fishing reports thru the summer tks ken

What *I* see in those photos is the promise of many good times to come.

The rig looks great, and I have a serious case of the green-eyed envies.

Very cool rig... I have thought about doing that same thing sooooo many times, but the water is soooooo dang cold here... Your gunna get wet in that type of rig, but it would be such a blast....

its a split screen plotter and fish finder. Alaska guy a dry suit and plenty of cold weather gear under it and you could have a blast with one of these things where you are at.

I looked at one a guy in anchorage is building Alaska style. They are built out of aluminum and large enough to supposedly be able to handle 1000 pounds. Everything about it wat cool except the price tag. lol One of the places I like to fish, these would be nice for one person.

Yours is the first ski I've seen rigged in a way I can respect. I wish you good luck sir.

I dread seeing jetskis round here. It is usually morons with no common sense. They will buzz way too close while your fishin. Several get killed on them here every year. They will come buzz all around mess up yer fishin and get mad when you start casting 3oz stinkers at them. I tell them if your within casting distance your too close and in danger. Only the really stupid ones need more "talkin too" after that.

Last time I was in Baja...South of LaPaz there was a guy trolling with a rig similar to that...really had it decked out with all the goodies..think he was trolling for dorado...a marlin might have given him a real surprise....nice rig!!

hey MaryB That's the biggest reason I rigged this jet ski up. I have a lot of shallow water stripped bass ( rock fish) around the upper bay Islands that I just cant get to with my 27 ft center console . This thing should get me right on top of them in 18 inches to 2ft of water . Its also very useful in fishing the pilings around the many bridges we have in the upper bay, easy to move in tight spaces. I will post some pics of good fishing trips (but none of bad ones} hey guys tks for the many replys KEN

That is more of a fishing assault vehicle!
Very cool. It is amazing some of the ways you can customize things nowadays.

My only concern would be some of the whirlpools, one in front of that rock wall in th epic pulled a 14 foot fishing boat under this spring drowning a guy. Granted he was out on really high water conditions when I avoid that river because it is to dangerous.

MaryB take a look at the use of these jet skis in surf boarding they toe the surfers out to those giant waves using a jet ski. also look up some of the post on jet skis used for fishing all over the world. They can handle some pretty rough water. Still I agree with you a life jacket should always be on and you can bet on rough days im keeping mine in the lift at the pier. To many nice days to use it to gamble on ones life tks for your input ken

Hard to see in that picture but that wall is a 90 degree bend in the river and right across from the boat launch. Many have got in trouble over there until warning signs were posted at the launch to stay out of that spot in high water.
