Hi,
I found a better link and changed it out. This also shows parts names and then a cut away operation segment! Pretty neat! I have to wonder how a man over a hundred years ago sat at his work bench and got all these parts designed, and how they work together, to make an auto pistol that 95% of ALL pistols today are designed on!!!

Some individuals can look at a series of parts and just see the operation and whats going on. Some see with thier mind more than thier eyes per say. I have read in several books John Browning was known for cutting a needed part from paper writing the thickness on it and sending to tool room to be made. Its even more interesting when you realize that the 1911 wasnt his only desighn. The belt feed machine guns, Model 12 , the A5, several smaller pistols and many other inovations are attributed to this gentleman.

I don't even have a 1911.:

The first step is admitting the problem.

To me the winchester lever action seems more complecated. I have a model 95 and have not had a desire to take it apart and put it back togeather.
