I have bunches of parts I cannot ID. These were with the Star progressive press I asked about in an earlier thread. I know #7 is a powder measure, but I would like to know it's actual name. Please let me know if you can help me figure out what these are. Thanks for any help.

Looks like you have a complete die set for a star loader. #7 is an adjustable powder slide but I'm not sure that is it's real name. #4 is the case mouth expander, #3 is the bullet seater, #5 is your large and small primer installation punches. I think #6 is your sizer die. I'm not at my loading room so I can't be sure what all the different pieces are but I'll bet someone will help.

Joe, do you still have those parts? I'm looking for the adjustable powder slide and you have one....the number 7 part. It needs cleaning but that's not a problem for me.

You guys do know that there is a whole website devoted to all things Star, don't you? The name and intellectual properties for the reloader are now owned by Bruce Williams in NJ and he can provide all of the factory-type parts. Aftermarket parts vendors also tend to show up there as well. I'm sure I've seen that adj powder slide listed.

I know that GF. I Just picked up some things from Bruce last week but I need/want an adjustable powder slide. With pistol powder so hard to find, I'm ending up with some of this and that. Hav enough now to get going and can wait on powder I do want but in the meantime, I ended up with two powders and maybe a third as a result. Trying to run down the guy in Connetticutt that Bruce said should have that part.
I just happened to run across this particular thread last night.

In my last post is a typo. )) should be 00 which is 3/8" thick. 0 is 1/4" thick and 000 is 1/2" thick.
