Who makes Lyman barrels?

It was Investarms out of Italy. I don't know if they are still using them or not.

The two Lyman Great Plains rifles I had (one flint & one percussion) weren't bad rifles either.

i had one of those fast twist .50 cals. with 100 grains of real black and a mmp sabot and a .451 250 grain pistol bullet it cut center to a very tight group at 180 yards. i gave it to my son in denver last year and he plans on hunting with it their. was a really good gun. i changed the crescent butt plate to a shotgun one as it hurt too much with the crescent one.

Not sure what you mean by that, lots of firearms are imported under different names. Cabellas are also investarms at least they were. What about japchesters, or belgium brownings. It is what it is.

They are good barrels. I'll keep shooting mine. I have another coming to sell to my brother after I accurize it for him. Can't have him out shooting me.
