Two reasons to cast

Two recent acquisitions that I would not have thought of getting before I began to cast and load BP. Trapdoor and Peabody carbines. The trapdoor needs a few small parts and the awful poly finish removed, the Peabody will have a new block to allow shooting centerfire ammo. Both carbines have excellent bores and getting loads for them should provide a lot of entertainment.

You're right about that, two very nice rifles to own! Not only do you have a good excuse to cast boolits, but a good one to make black powder also! Good luck with them, I am sure you will get years of enjoyment.
