Is there anyone on the Colorado Front range casting and or shooting black powder with "Big lube" bullets (colt 45) I am getting quite fond of the smokey stuff but evidently need to tune up the hand gun accuracy some.
I would like to either buy or trade for 250 or so "Big Lube Bullets"
I have 260 gr Keith .454 with Bullshop NASA lube for trade, also have lots of Lyman 429421 44's both are hard cast water quenched these have some a few ounces of shot to increase the antimony and 20 % lino and are very hard. I will be casting some Keiths much softer like 30-1 to see if that (which should) make a difference.
The back order time for mould is apparently 6 months. Before ordering and waiting, I would like to know if my guns will shoot these any better than the "H&G Keith" I am casting now.
PM if any one can help me out thanks
Thanks
