This is currently my favorite load. I'm excited to hunt deer this fall with my little 1894c. This is a shooter with iron sights.

Water jug testing at 50 yards.

Looks like a perfect deer load or about anything else with that kind of expansion. Held together well too. Looks like a very lethal combination!

Dj is that the gas check or plain base , that boolit is a shooter for sure . A fellow member here sent me some to try in a 357 Mag. tender that was giving me a fit, the thing hate's SWC 's or at least 358477's but is a 1 holer with that boolit

According to responses I got when asking about the 358477, that boolit does not seem to perform accurately for anyone here.

That is exactly the boolit I used for deer season a couple of seasons ago. I really like the boolit. In fact for .357 it has become my standard boolit. It did a good number on a small buck at 35 yards with my open sights. Couldn't have been more pleased.

It is the gas check version. This boolit shoots great out of my 358 win at 2200fps with 2400 as propellant. It will not chamber in my marlin 35 rem though.

I've got the exact mold and am wanting to work with it some out of my Marlin 1894cs. I have a Lyman peep on it and it is very accurate. LilGun has been becoming my favorite magnum pistol powder lately, despite the May Sayers. Haven't had any issues with it, flows like sand through an hour glass. I've got 2# of it left but will need more soon.

I have the same mold, and shot it a bit out of my Rossi 92 using 16gr Lilgun with pretty reasonable accuracy. Makes for a great hunting round in a 357, and I have 50 loaded up just for that purpose.
