38 Special Brass Data

This is data I have accumulated over a period of time, while trying to work-up the most accurate and consistent loads that I can. I thought I would share this with you.

All brass was trimmed to 1.145" +/-.001":

Federal (100 pcs): Average Weight 64.0 gr, ES 5.3 gr
CCI +P (nickel) (100 pcs): Average Weight 71.6 gr, ES 2.4 gr
Winchester +P (20 pcs): Average Weight 72.7 gr, ES 1.3 gr

Please add any other relevant data you have for 38 special brass, such as other brands, case neck thickness, case capacity, number of times reloaded, problems if any, etc. Loading comments or quirks for this cartridge would be appreciated too.
