270 WSM Brass Data

This is data I have accumulated over a period of time, while trying to work-up the most accurate and consistent loads I can. I thought I would share this with you.

All brass was trimmed to 2.090" +/-.001":

Federal (20 pcs): Average Weight 229.5 gr, ES 10.2 gr *
Remington (100 pcs): Average Weight 234.6 gr, ES 5.3 gr

* Deleting the 1 (one) heaviest piece resulted in an Average Weight of 229.3 grains, and an ES of only 6.7 gr.

Please add any other relevant data you have for 270 WSM brass, such as other brands, case neck thickness, case capacity, number of times reloaded, problems if any, etc. Loading comments or quirks with these cartridges would also be appreciated.
