This is data I have accumulated over a period of time, while trying to work-up the most accurate and consistent loads that I can. I thought I would share this with you.
All brass was trimmed to 2.005" +/-.001":
LC '77 Match (20 pcs): Average Weight 178.3 gr, ES 4.7 gr
LC '79 Match (20 pcs): Average Weight 178.7 gr, ES 1.8 gr
LC '84 (10 pcs): Average Weight 177.6 gr, ES 3.7 gr
LC '85 (10 pcs): Average Weight 177.8 gr, ES 2.7 gr
CAVIM '90 (10 pcs): Average Weight 174.5 gr, ES 3.1 gr
MC 7.62 (25 pcs): Average Weight 173.9 gr, ES 2.0 gr
Remington (10 pcs): Average Weight 165.9 gr, ES 3.8 gr
Winchester (10 pcs): Average Weight 157.5 gr, ES 1.4 gr
Please add any other relevant data you have for 308/7.62 brass, such as other brands, case neck thickness, case capacity, number of times reloaded, problems if any, etc. Loading comments or quirks would also be appreciated.
