300 WSM Brass Data

This is data I have accumulated over a period of time, while trying to work-up the most accurate and consistent loads that I can. I thought I would share this with you.

All brass was trimmed to 2.090" +/-.001":

Federal (300 pcs): Average Weight 238.6 gr, ES 9.9 gr *
Winchester (100 pcs): Average Weight 227.4 gr, ES 5.4 gr

* Deleting the 4 lightest pieces, and the 6 heaviest pieces resulted in and Average Weight of 238.6 gr, and an ES of only 6.9 grs for 290 pieces.

Please add any other relevant data you have for 300 WSM brass, such as other brands, case neck thickness, case capacity, number of times reloaded, problems if any, etc. Loading comments of quirks would also be appreciated.
