I use that Lee 240gr SWC-TL (2 cav) under 6.4grs Unique for a moderate load in my 3" CA Bulldog (.44 SPL)

7.5 Gr Unique for me. Note that this is probably about a 20K psi round and is therefore overpressure for the marginal guns out there like the bulldog and really old SAAs. I shoot it in my flattop, 629, and Rossi 92. I've found it will usually perform surprisingly well in guns that otherwise hate cast. Then again I've found it can be beat pretty easily by the 250 Keith in a gun that runs well with cast.
