Does anyone know where I might locate one? (firing pin spring for my k31)

I called a couple places, and had no luck.

Thanks:-D

Wolff doesn't list it, but I'll bet they have them:

Northridge has it listed:

I seem to remember Tennessee Gun Parts having them:

I have the same problem, and have already contacted Wolf. They don't have a clue what it needs. They didn't know what spring a Gewehr 88 uses, either, but I can now tell them that a 93 Mauser spring is perfect and a 98 Mauser spring works fine but is compressed an extra 1/4".

The people on the Swiss rifle boards are no help. They just point to the FAQ about the rifle misfiring if the bolt's not fully closed. Don't want to recognize that the Swiss rifles aren't infallible, I suppose.

I've planned to take out my spring, measure it, and look for a spring with similar dimensions and around 19-22 lbs compressed pressure from the hardware suppliers like MSC or McMaster-Carr. (I'd bet that's how Wolf sources their springs.) Figured I'd buy a bunch of extras and resell 'em, but if you want to beat me to it be my guest!

Would they sell something other than a new spring?:???:

Lots of milsurp places sell parts scavenged from disassembled rifles. That's what you'd get from Tennessee Gun Parts, Springfield Sporters or Numrich.
