I just received a few moulds back from Buckshot that he converted to hollow point for me.

I am very pleased with the results (again)!

While waiting for the 358627 Group Buy to arrive I thought I would have Rick convert my old Lyman version to HP. It turned out very nicely ! I am having my Ruger #1 .357Magnum rechambered to .357Maximum so look forward to playing with these.

Cast in WW! I will try someting softer tonight and be a little more careful with band fillout. It was late last night and I did not pay very close attention.

Beautiflul pictures and hp bullet. I am wondering, is that a CHP commemorative Ruger#1. I had mine bored to 357 Max. as soon as I got it, way back when they first came out.

hicard:

Mine is one of the "not-so-common" non-CHP versions without any of the markings. It looks like a standard #1. I was very lucky to find it for a very reasonable price. Those .357s are getting pricey !

It has an old Weaver T series target scope so I hope it will be a shooter in .357Max.

Ruger made those back in the days when they didn't pay more than $6 for a barrel. You bought 5 Rugers and if one of them shot good, you were lucky.

Here is Michael's 358627 "Clone" Group Buy (45 2.1 design) that just arrived for comparison to the original in my first photo. A very nice bullet from a great looking GB mould. My thanks to Michael and Bob !
