I enjoy casting in the winter.. Much more than summer. Many times summer temps will be 90+ degrees + and 80% + humidity and stay that way for weeks at a time ..

the lead ain't even melted yet.
you can tell,,,,,, because there ain't a big pile of drips below the spout.

The one on the left is creeping up on 20 years old. It doesn't keep up like the newer one. When things are working right I can run one pot half way down and switch to the other. By the time that pot is half way down I can switch back. I run two 6 cavity molds when I cast. I'm not a patient man.

nice...
you could also mount the older pot above the bottom one and dump the lead from one to the other.
that way you add lead to the top one and maintain a constant level of alloy in the second.
