start load for gc 150gr "06"

I'm looking for a load to start with for my .30-06 my boolits are strait WW 150gr with gas checks the only powder I have imr 4895 so I only need load for that powder.I'm not new to loading I just started to cast for my .30 cal.thanks for any help.

With 4895 do not reduce below 65% of case capacity. That is your start load.

A good starting load is right around 30gr.

What rifle are you planning on shooting them out of?

I'll be shooting them out of a bolt action alpine supreme with a mauser type action, made in England it has a very clean bore,its printing nice groups with 110gr. cjhp's 50.8gr imr4895 1.25 @ 100 yds. I just don't know how hot I can go with gc lead boolits.

btw the boolits are water dropped,should I wait for them to harden ? if so how long?
