Mauser dovetail size

I had a Lyman 57 receiver sight put on the '91 Argentine I bought. I also bought the tallest front sight that Gunparts had for it. The sight isn't tall enough for what I want the rifle to do. I see the M38 Swede's have a taller sight than what I bought. Did the makers of these two rifles use the same size dovetail for their rifles?

You're looking for a 5.26mm dovetail front site. Brownell's has tall after market front sites.
