If you would consider 26 .030 wads I will send them to you. I don't have .060 vegetable fiber stock, but I do have .030.

Greetings
Huh... I always thought they was for shooting vegatibles without contaminating them in the process.
I just read 8 sites that sell vege wads and none state what is used. Could be corn leaves for all I read. Biodegradable was the key word.

I have 45 cal vegetable wads, at least that is how the container was marked. When I checked some with a caliper they measure 65 thou. If that is no problem I will send you 13. I would of course need your address.

Guys:

I have had a wonderful response to my request. I have the vegetable fiber wads coming.

Texantothecor:

While I am not certain, I believe vegetable fiber wads are made of waste products such as corn husks. Their purpose, I think, in BPCR shooting is to provide a barrier between black powder and bullet's lubrication - that is, the lubricant is retarded from leaching into the propellant to render it inert. . . . But I'm not sure.

They are punched from sheets of vegetable fiber gasket material. NAPA sells it, among others.

Most common sizes in automotive supply stores will be 1/64", 1/32", and 1/16".
Those last two are the source of your .030 and .060 veggie wads.
