My Dillon digital scale has worked fine for years but I'm certain cheaper ones can be found.

I have the scale Airman Basic showed. It has lasted about 3 years so far. It does go through batteries (AAA) fairly rapidly. But they last longer if the back light isn't used. I would recommend it to a friend.

Frankfort Arsenal one (above) for reloading and the 10# capacity white Harbor Freight scale (#95365) for lead ingots.

Not the most accurate, but very repeatable and cost-effecrtive! Have checked against my NIST weights and "close enough for government work!"

I have the little Frankford Scale as well and after 6-7 years it is still on it's first set of batteries. (Maybe I don't use it as much as others do?) I got it on sale at Midway for 19.95, and they have it on sale about 2 times year.

What I do is wait til I have a bunch of doodads I need and make a larger order,,, That way the shipping is not too offensive.

I just got an order from them this week and I had about $180 worth of stuff by the time I got done. I originally only wanted a Scope level but at $29.95 it would have cost $45 with shipping so I got a Wheeler Boresighter I have been wanting at the same time, and a few other doodads too.

Be patient and you can get that scale at a better price.

Another vote for the Frankfort Arsenal. Mine has jumped from the bench to the floor a couple of times and is still kicking.

I am currently using the GemPro 250 for loading and wieghting bullets it works very well and has grain reading to .02 which can be nice at times. Check around , read up some on the diffrent ones available and research whats out there.

Another vote for the frankford arsenal. No issues and comes with 50g weight which helps check accuracy. I found the best deal on eBay.

Check out E-Bay for "electronic scale", there are 12,800 listed. You can have your pick. For weighing bullets most any of them will work just fine. IMO

Find a local Head Shop. They have great scales for <$25 and accurate to +/-001.gr. :)

I have used this scale for several years. It is accurate (always in line with my balance beam scale) and very inexpensive.
