When smelting my scrap lead, what temp is good for pouring ingots? i just got a thermometer and now i can actually see my melt temps. I'm just trying to cover the bases. thanks all

Scrap lead, wheel weights for instance may contain zinc weights. Zinc melts at 787.2°F
So any temperature 620 to below 787 F I pour at 680 - 700F

Sounds good. tomorrow I'm smelting about 115 lbs of range scrsp. don't think il find any zink there but keeping the temps down will help with the other batch of coww. thx
