boss system

I have a Winchester rifle with this on it. mine has the ported one. any one know if they still sell them i would like to buy/ trade for the solid one. i dont really use it and it,s loud i cant hear now dont need the noise. if i can,t find one ill just cut this one off

Don't cut it off. They are threaded on to the muzzle, and usually have Loctite. You can either get a solid one made, or my own choice would be a thread cap to protect the threads and crown. That way in the future if you want to use it, or sell it, you could. As far as I know they don't make new ones any more.

I have a Browning BOSS. I don't know how the Winchester mounts them, but if they are like the Browning, you can screw the two parts of it off and put a thread protector on the front.

I have a Winchester BOSS and went to Browning . Boss is screwed on . Browning inherited , Winchesters BOSS when they bought the company . Have a tread protector made , you may decide you want it back on there .
