Anyone know where to get a round ball mold for a .30 bore rifle?
Pro'bly need something about .29 or so.

I also wonder if there is any buckshot that would work?

both lee and lyman did make them. but no longer, so you have to get lucky and find a used one. Some small bag mould makers have them, or will make them. I would try Moose moulds and see if they are willing to make you one. If you cant find a mold soon enough, Ballistic Products sells 2 1/2 buck (.290) in bulk

Sharpshooter molds has a .290 buckshot mold and a .27 which would work with a thicker patch possibly. 8)

I would seriously consider finding the proper size buck shot, rather than casting those tiny little buggers!

2 1/2 buck!
Wow, thanks. That totally eluded me.
I had looked at the sizes of shot (1, 2 ,3, etc) and come up empty on something that would be the right size.
Now I'm good to go on having it set up for the lefty GPR flinter. The barrel is currently a hefty 31" long so I need to figger the length wanted.

Most bp barrels are 26 minimum and 32" is average. Some get as long as 43" which allows more burn time for the BP. 8)
