Got out this afternoon with my oldest girl she's 11 , a while back I loaded a few with my 700 in 308 150 Lee FN over 13 gr. Unique . She did very well with it . Today I had her a whole box , She did very good today just need more trigger time and she didn't mention recoil till she put 10 round down the tube , then we called it quits on the 308 . I got the 7-08 Striker out tried a few plinkers 12 gr Unique and a 130 lee then a few 130 lees over 22 gr. R7. I was pleased with that one shooting off a backpack on top of my knee's while sitting at the base of a tree . No target pic's but I did get 1 of her with my 700 Rem. I'll get target pic's next time , we had to hurry and get ready for church. Thanks for a super forum and lots of good info

Good job, both of you! Thanks for sharing our sport with the next generation and the story with us.

Thanks , The cast boolit is a most valuable teaching tool with the right load . Its hard to believe that you can load those for close to or just as cheap as 22LR these days
