I have a Finnish M27 mosin that slugs at .310. It has the D marking which means its throat was opened up to accept russian ammo at .311-.312. Would it be risky pressure wise to try some cast 314299 sized at .314 in this rifle?

Not at all, the throat will do the sizing for you.

That's what I was thinking but I thought I better get a more informed opinion. Thanks!

My M27 slugs out at .3115 and I use the 314299 sized to .3135 with 20 grs IMR 4759. Frank

Mine shot great today with the 314299 at .314 and 1.3cc dipper of 2400. I was very pleased.
