Reloading tool for Ruger MK 1.

Hello to all.
If I shoot 50 to 100 rds of .22 out of my Ruger MK 1 my left hand starts to hurt. Loading that clip is reducing my fun and I don't want to buy more clips right now.

Has anyone devised a tool one can make for himself to aid reloading of this semi auto? If so can you provide some instructions.

Pay the postage and I will send you one I made out of stainless steel sheet metal, works real well.

Aluminum Pop Rivet, thru the slots in the magazine, put your thumb on the mag. base and use your first two fingers, on either side of it, to pull the follower down.

I've made a few out of a 1/4'' plastic cutting board. Cut a piece about 1 1/4 x 2 then make a 3/8 x 1 hole in it. I just drilled two 3/8'' holes and cut the middle out.

The best I ever used were the Skeeters thumb saver but unfortunately I don't think there made any longer. They worked for MK I, II and III I think
