I have 80 325 cast bullets I want to try & load up using Titegroup. I'll be shooting these out of a Ruger BH.
I know theirs better powder choices out there but I just want to try this combo out if I can find data. (I have a lot of Titegroup) my estimate is somewhere between 7.5 & 8 grains would be safe.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

It would definitely be safe in a Ruger BH. I would not put that load through a Colt though. I use 8.0 grains in S&W Mountain gun pushing a 270 grain cast and it does around 880fps. YMMV.

Yea I figured it should be ok but I know with fast burning powder & heavy bullets pressures can jump up pretty fast.

Being on the safe side, I wouldn't push much over 850, maybe 900 fps, with such a quick powder. Likely to not have great accuracy with a 325 grain at such velocities but probably decent enough at shorter ranges. Better combinations for boolit to powder however...........

If you are a person who cast their own I would use the titegroup for lighter work with boolits in the 200-260 grain area and save the 325's for hunting if you do so and work these heavies with slower magnum handgun powder.

Are these 325's gas checked or plain based boolits? If GC'd then it should be easier to find accuracy with what you are looking at doing here.

These are plain based bullets. I traded a reloading manual for them about a year ago. Their neither SWC or RN style. Not really looking for pin point accuracy I just want to load them to shoot at steel plates.
And I have over 2lbs of Titegroup to use.

I use Tightgroup powder in my 454 casulls loaded in 454 cases and with small pistol primers with 260 ,275 & 300 gr boolets with 8.0 grs @950 fps and 9.0grs @1,100 fps with excellent accuracy.
A friend and I have loaded 6.0 grs of TG for the 45 lc, for a 45 lc chambered handgun.
