The K-38 is great fun to shoot and own. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I've enjoyed mine. Sadly, I also let a K-22 get away from me in the mid 70s.

The K-38 family & later Models 14/15 are "should haves" for any revolver fan. I am a revolver fan but I only have one and it is a 4" Model 15-3. I have a good selection of Model 10s and 3 Colt Officers Models, as well as several Official Police. All great and I'm always on the lookout for a Model 14.

Love those .38 K-frames. In 2004 I bought a 10-5 for $200.00 from the estate of a retired cop. Lots of holster wear but mechanically like new. The trigger pull is awesome in DA and SA and the sights are dead on with any 150-160 grain boolits. I want a stainless one for carry so currently bidding on a really sweet 64-3...

The older I get the less I enjoy bending over, picking up brass cases flung all over the place and have come to love the revolver for what it is. Selmerfan, You gonna love it

I have a bunch of 38 wadcutters and Lee 358-158RF's all loaded up for my next trip. There's just nothing more fun than a K-38 on a nice day. Like gwpercle said - no chasin brass either.!!
