Since I bought 1 of these recently I was curious about upgrades for a smoother functioning machine. Although never having 1 before I have no way to compare a factory stock machine with a machine that has upgrades. So far I've seen the bearing kit for the bolt that holds down the shell plate. A roller bearing unit for the rod that rides on the case feeder mechanism. Case feeder (which I really want). And spent primer upgrade which seems nicer than the factory supplied little bin. And last a roller handle that will be the first thing to get.

Am I missing anything else?

Spring and ball that holds the shell plate in place. If you take the shell plate off you see a little metal ball and spring. Get the one from ebay that is plastic and has a lower pressure spring.

I strongly recommend the spent primer tube upgrade, roller handle and a casefeeder. I have all on mine and wouldn't go back.
http://www.uniquetek.com/site/696296 sells the primer tube thing and some other stuff, plus they have a bunch of tips there.
As sg said a softer spring for the ball detent is a good upgrade too, this helps to keep powder in the cases. You can just carefully take some tension out of the existing one.

The other mods sound good but I have not tried them.

A thrust bearing and washers smooth out the index with out changing springs and such.

you know I bought one about 10 yrs ago found out that the cost and the cost of change dies . It is set up with all the "stuff" that has been posted . Bet I have $2000 in it .
I use the Lee loadmaster more .
I told dillon to stop sending their blue book .
they are way over priced and like Harley get your bank account ready

Reaming and Polishing the powder funnels is the biggest improvement

I recommend the bearing kits. Reduces powder spillage.

Knobs are OK but the Uniquetek are way nicer. Just record your mic settings for your powder weights. Very repeatable.

No need to do that. Cut a coil off the spring and try it and repeat the process if needed.

I haven't tried the bearing and thrust washer but Jmorris has never been wrong.
