My son and his girl friend shooting one of our Glocks and took a slow motion video.
Took the stills out, wife saw them and freaked out a bit.

I would be willing to bet that the same shot with a 1911 instead of a Glock would look the same.(NOT a Glock defender by the way)
Absolutely not claiming to be a photography expert in the least, but when I was shooting recurves for Hoyt USA, they made a video showing the forces that bows experience when they are shot, and it had to be filmed at 6,000 frames per second,and had to have so much light that the archers ended up shooting in 120 degree heat.
