Should do OK out to maybe 100 yards. That is the boolit I use but I use IMR 4064 in my Marlin 336 with the ballard rifling.

using pure ww the bullets will not expand so you have to aim at vital areas and drop them on the spot. the first deer I shot with my 303 cast the bullet went in and hit the heart and went out the other side the same size, it ran 30 yds and dropped. the second doe last year got the bullet in the head, she dropped on the spot.

You may want to consider 1:20 so the bullet expands on impact

Use what the gun shoots the most accurate with, since no matter what you shoot it with, shot placement is KEY. Many here subscribe to wanting complete penetration so the animal bleeds out of both sides, and it will in fact run less if it runs at all. Expansion is nice but it should be secondary to accuracy, you punch a good hole all the way through a deer in the vitals with a 30-30 it's going down.

If your gun groups better with air cooled ww, use that. I have a .44 Super Blackhawk that really took a liking to 50/50 alloy ww with pure lead, and 2% tin added. It's fairly soft, can dig a thumbnail into it but the gun just loves this alloy so that's what I use in it. You can only know by trying different alloy what your gun likes and you got all summer to do it!

Yes. I killed an elk with that boolit.

ACWW works fine on deer for me. If you hit bone it will still penetrate.
