Bore ride ideas for a revolver

So land diameter of my 500 bfr is 493, does anyone know of any pros or cons in shooting a bullet with a bore ride diameter closer to grove diameter say 499 or 498? Will this idea even work? Its a revolver so the issue would only be with more of the bullet making more contact with the bore. Sorry if it is or seems like en a dumb question just wanted others thoughts on the idea.

Should work well, only problem you might have is leading from the extra bearing surface if the lube is inadequate. Shouldn't normally be an issue though.
