shrink tubing on tumbler bolt to help cut down dust?

Hi I have a Frankford arsenal dry tumbler and got thinking. The bolt to hold the lid on is threaded all the way and might be causing some dust with all the media running over it. I was thinking of trying some shrink tubing over the rod to maybe cut down on the dust. Just wondering if you think this might work or if I'm over thinking things. Thanks for any comments, its tumbling right now at the moment. :D

Throw a little mineral spirits in the media and that will cut down on the dust.

or a used dryer sheet will also cut down on the dust. Just cut it into thirds and throw one in with the brass

The dryer heets work just fine.
