I have started to shoot the NSSF Rimfire challenge recently, I'm needing to find a manufacturer for what's called a "slide racker" for a Buckmark. Been over at Rimfire central seen the one over there but I'm getting no response from him.
Anyone else got any leads?

Thanks for looking

I had to make my own, I bought some 3/8" aluminum rod and some allen head bolts that would just fit in side them when counterbored then had a machinist drill and counterbore them. The slide was a little tough to drill and tap just go slow

it works real slick I use it for steel challenge the bolt protrudes about 3/16" into the slide I got the bolt and rod at lowes

Correct my ignorance, why is one of those needed. Are they concerned with racking slide with the inadequate gripping surface using the grooves on the Buckmark?

You may have to loctite it in place. I had a scope mounted on mine and for whatever reason it constantly shook the mount loose.

Heck I have 44 Mags that don't shake screws loose, but the 22 rimfire sure did.

Yup big ole meat hooks and a little slide don't work well
Especially on the clock

I put it on because in steel challenge and a dud will kill your time this gets it out in the blink of an eye. I put blue locktite on it 5k rounds later it is still tight

Thanx, figured it was to increase action manipulation, but was not sure.

Yes loctite solves many problems.

Yes, I will have to admit duds are so very common in today's 22 world.
