just got a new s&w governor any info on using 45 lc as far as max oal and preferred load am using 8 grains unique and235 grain speer rn

dont worry about oal, if pressures are in line for what S&W will handle meaning 23Kpsi max you are ok and should worry more with accuracy than oal. that said i use mine strictly as a TAX STAMP EXEMPT sawed off shotgun/aow which is where the gun shows its true potential
