Ive got a rifle here I am working on for a friend. I have fixed everything on it except the firing pin. I am having a very hard time finding one. I don't have access to a lathe. A mini lathe is on my wish list but money is too tight at this time.

So, does anyone have a extra one laying aroud, know where I might find one, or be able to make me one?

Thanks guys.

You'll probably have to order the firing pin from EAA (http://www.eaacorp.com/manuals-parts-diagrams.html)

Some of those Russian guns, both shotgun and rifle, were real nice and real inexpensive until Remington stuck their nose in for a couple of years. Totally screwed up the import situation for those and increased the price as well.

I have a Baikal semi auto shotgun bought just before Remington jumped in. Same as the spartan line, but about a hundred bucks cheaper. One of the best field shotguns I've ever owned. Very rugged, not particularly well finished. I ended up sand blasting the barrel and painting it, to give a much more weather resistant exterior. Once that was done, it's been a perfect duck gun. Just wish it wasn't so far to drive to hunt ducks where I live here in Georgia. I miss living near a flyway.

BSJ,

You might also try e-gunparts.com Sometimes they have parts a bit quicker and less expensive than the distributor. Look at schematic, then at Part #23:
