Looking for a general purpose 38/357 mold. Like the looks of this one. Whose got it and how ya like it? Accuracy? Performance if used on critters?

I have the Lee version of that boolit and it shoots great. Good accuracy and no leading in my revolver.
From appearances, the Lee is nearly identical to the Lyman version.
I can't comment on hunting with it as I haven't used my pistol for hunting yet.

I saw that one during my "research" but no one has really commented on field performance. It seems to e an accurate mold design. I think this will be my next mold purchase.

Good mold, good boolit--but unlucky for me. When I strap on my .357 loaded with these 358-665 boolits game gets scarce--I mean totally absent. Two trips out to the desert and zero shots on jacks.

It`s as copied a design as the Keith style.

& in solid form it`ll knock a hole clean thru a 150ished deer with little meat damage!

I`m down to keepin 3 boolits on hand ,the Lee version of the 357665 ,the NOE 358429 & the NOE 360-180 which looks like a heavier version of the 665 with 2 lube grooves.

That's about my plan. I have both a Lyman and NOE 389429 as well as the MP 360-180. Wanted to add the -665 to the group. Looks like I may have to hunt one down now.

Is there any other popular and accurate molds I'm overlooking?
