Crimping die

In order to fit the throats on 2 Rugers I have to size to .455. Can a custom crimping die be made so the case will fit without scraping and give a proper crimp? Appreciate a point in the right direction.

Under the assumption that you are loading 45 Colt, take a look at the Lee collet crimp die:

There are a couple threads here that discuss this little beauty. It is an overrun from a custom order, not the standard carbide factory crimp die for pistol rounds as regularly cataloged. This one is built like the rifle collet crimpers. I use 'em and like 'em, especially for situations like your larger slug diameter.
