Hello booklet casters, and reloaders. After about a ten year break I'm getting back to reloading and casting. I have all my old equipment, and have been accumulating some new things for calipers I've added in those years.
This looks like a great forum for information, and suggestions. Lots to catch up on, and you may get tired of my questions. LOL

Welcome. Take your time and have fun. If you make a mistake, you can remelt and have another go. May I suggest reading "From Ingot to Target" in the Sticky's?

One of the "new" tricks this old dog wants to learn is powder coating. Looks like a really cool alternative to my old messy Red Rooster bullet lube.

Welcome rjw1911, welcome back. Lots of great folks here. They certainly showed me the path. Oh yeah, powder coating. I've heard of that too. Mike

Welcome to the site!
Watch out for those heretical powder coaters. That Chi-com powder coat powder addles the brain pan.

But how else can I load my 45-70 T/C Contender "Zombie Slayer" with zombie green boolets?
Then there's the official looking Lone Ranger silver boolets for my 45 Colt.

Shake off the dust and get busy!!!!!!!!!

I just LOVE powder coating. Eliminates all that grease. A new technology in the past 9 months on here and it really REALLY works! No leading!

Check it out.

Welcome back to all the fun!

Wow, you are sooooo right. Started reading the threads about bullet hardness testing. I've been looking at testers, but ran across a thread from 2010 about using art pincels. Didn't read four years worth of threads, but skipped to the end of the movie. Y'all just saved me a hundred bucks on a tester!!!

Yup. Thought I'd use some of my savings by using the art pencils instead of buying a tester to become a paying member.
