Day at the range with dad and his garand

What a way to start the new year,A DAY at the range with my dad,He let me shoot his new toy today,His M1 Garand that we got from Robert,His shooting was way off today,He had alittle trouble seeing,I WAS excited as ive never shot a garand before,Heres the pic of him at the bench,Looks serious dosent he?

Now for the group of the day,Shot by me :-D Robert this gun is definatley a shooter buddy,Used greek ammo today,The shot u see up high is my first fouling shot,The other 3 well what can i say IM GOODDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD :-D

Gotta love the Garand. Keep'em clean, feed'em the right ammo and I'd put one up against any Mil small arm for the combination of firepower and accuracy. What a New Year's day... good shooting!

The group is nice but what I see is a father, a son and an M1 enjoying a day together shooting. Brings tears to my eyes. Doesn't get any better than that!

I am glad to see your dad shooting it. I am really happy to see it shoot those groups as I only shot 8 rounds thru it when I got it. Tell Hoppy I want to shoot it next time I see him ok?
