Was on my way back from a procedure at the VA, and stopped at my favorite tire store. Apparently nobody had gotten any of their weights for awhile, and I got 145#, gross. Of course, the finished product will be less, after sorting, but, it's more than I had before. Bright sunshiny day, lots of new wheel weights, doctor said procedure went well. What's not to like? A great day, all in all. :bigsmyl2::bigsmyl2::bigsmyl2:

Congrats! Was a good day for me as well, I found out i'm getting some tax money back and when I got home from the accountants my mechanic friend had 6 absolutely FULL 5 gallon buckets of wheel weights waiting for me. Also aprox 150lbs of lead sheets from an old house he is renovating. Should I buy a lotto ticket?

What % are steel wheel weights. Most of the tire shops out west use nothing but steel.

Aprox 20% are steel. 10% stick on lead and 70% clip ons. Sorted one bucket last night, took hours!
