I have a Rossi M92 .454 Casull and a Lee C452-300-RF mold ( checked and lubed weigh just short of 320 grains ). I have a couple pounds of each of these powders: H110, W296, IMR 4227( Made in Australia ), and IMR 4831. I would like to get some good velocity.

Which of these powders would you use for this boolit and rifle??

Thanks

H110, W296, IMR 4227 will do what you want.

4831 would be virtually useless.

+1

Note that 296 and H110 are one in the same.

I concur with the above. However, if you can find some Lil'Gun, That's my go to powder for thumper loads in all of my pistol caliber lever rifles, be it 357, 44, 45C or 454, I have them all and everyone of them loves Lil'Gun. I like that it doesn't need magnum primers like H110/296 does.
