Am I paranoid?

I called my local gunshop for the price on a Marlin 1895 SBL in 45-70. They called back and said 599.95. Tat seems way low to me, and I am afraid they looked at the wrong model. Seems to me that SBL's have been going for close to 900. Should I call back and confirm, or am I just being paranoid? If that is the actual price, I am gonna be all over that like a fat boy on a cupcake!!:grin:

Since the gun shop is local why don't you just drive over and take a look at the rifle?

seems like the price of a GBL but an SBL at that price should be sweet for sure. the smoothing up is fairly easy for a feller that is just a little handy with tools.

They would have to order it for me....otherwise I would just drive over and check it out! And I was thinking as well that it sounds like the price of a GBL.
