I understand they are now making them again. Was wondering if anyone has gotten their hands on one yet ?

my friend is a cowboy shooter, sometime smith
he showed me how to smooth one out on my other friends 1894 44mag, not sure if it is C, but is a straight grip
the cowboy shooter remarked Rem. improved some of the problems...we used this site for reference
http://marauder.homestead.com/cowboy.html
felt like a 100yr old rifle, smooth

They can run fast, not 1873 fast, but fast.

I have one from before they shut production down. I have had no issues w/ it so I was surprised when they stopped making them.

Haven't seen one yet, should be interesting. I have high hopes for Remlin but I know we'll never see the "good ol' days" again. I'll settle for a solid, well-fit rifle with no mechanical issues, feel pretty confident they will deliver.

2nd person in two days I have seen say that the 1894's are upo and running...

Not sure where people are getting this info, but I have seen no credible evidence of this...

I have one that according to the markings was assembled by the Remington plant from parts made by Marlin. It's a good gun.

FWIW, Davidson's Gallery of Guns is showing their status as "allocated" versus the "0" they showed for a long time.

Handled one at the largest lgs in the area yesterday in .44 mag. Owner assures me they ARE in fact being made and ordered me a .357. Says a couple of weeks......we'll see. That's an 1894 c blued ....he says no more stainless will be made.
P.S.
The one I handled was an SS.

Marlin shows the 1894 in 45 Colt, 44 Mag and 38/357, all must be ordered from Gallery of Guns.
When you click on the links you either get the 44 Mag for the 45 Colt link or 'gun not in inventory' message
.

Their site has always linked to Gallery of Guns. I would have your LGS call up his distributor if you want one.

Haven't seen or heard of one hitting my area yet. Waiting to get my hands on one to check them out and possibly purchase, if I like what I see and feel.
